Product Description
Many Sri Lankan dishes, especially vegetable curries, also include Maldive fish, which acts as a thickening, flavouring and protein component. In other dishes it is used in such small quantities that the flavor is undetectable, adding a certain character to the food. Maldive fish is the Sri Lankan answer to the shrimp pastes and fish sauces of South East Asia.

It"s okay. It is too hard and cannot be made into flakes. We used it to make seeni sambol.

MD Maldive fish chips
If not for the very hard pieces of Maldive fish chips this is a very good product. The hard pieces need to be grinded before mixing them for making various dishes or Pol sambol
